TRADITIONAL ARTThis is a broad category that covers most of my non-commissioned work; I really enjoy digital art but at the end of the day my preference is for traditional art.
My go-to media: a combination of gouache and colored pencils on watercolor or Canson paper. I can’t get enough of the easy control and that rich matte quality it has, and the pops of precision and detail from the pencils make it such an enjoyable way to work. Outside of this I spend a fair bit of time working in India ink (brushes or pens depending on the project), as well as acrylics and watercolors. I bounce between all of these quite a bit based on subject matter and so my portfolio is at its best varied and at its worst disjointed. I enjoy that informality, but am happy to provide more cohesive samples of each category upon request. If you’re interested in buying or commissioning an original art piece, contact me! |

OspreyNumbering 12 in total, these watercolors were painted on handmade paper provided by the bride and groom.

Northern River OtterThey were presented in weathered wood frames at the dining tables at the reception, surrounded by found trail objects such as antlers, flowers, and trimmed branches. The end result was gorgeous and I’m so thankful I got to contribute to such a well-designed arrangement.
